This sunlit timber home is our hot pick for a family holiday in idyllic Nature's Valley. It's virtually in the lagoon, has plenty of space for easy living, and sleeps up eight guests in four rooms - two doubles and two twins.
There are two bathrooms, and the open-plan living and dining area spills onto a roomy wooden deck with views over the Grootrivier that aren't too shabby.
The kitchen is well equipped with every modern convenience. The décor is exactly what you would hope for in a seaside house such as this – cosy, yet cool, and without the frilletjies en valletjies.
