Centrally located and a mere hop from the action on town square, Alberry Cottage appears to be a firm favorite for those after a clean-cut, no-nonsense Clarens getaway.

This sandstone house is set in a rambling garden overlooking the Maluti’s and Mount Horeb. You couldn't ask for much better.
The house is split into two levels, which can be taken either as separate units or as a whole. In the latter case you are looking at accommodation for a grand total of 12 guests.
Starting at the top, Alberry Upstairs sleeps a total four and comprises a Queen bedroom with mountain views and en-suite spa-bath and shower. There’s an additional twin room with own shower. The living room is centered around an open fireplace and is open-plan to an equipped kitchen. There is extra sleeping space for two in the living area.
Downstairs with it’s own private entrance, Alberry Downstairs sports a double bedroom with ensuite shower. There's a second room with double bed and a set of bunks. As with the upstairs unit the living room has a fireplace, open-plan kitchen and a sleeper couch for two kids.
To survive the notorious Clarens winter bite, both units are equipped with underfloor heating and electric blankets. Combine these with the open fireplaces, things should be quite toasty.
Each unit comes with private garden, braai facilities, and secure parking. There’s also a small jungle gym and swing to keep the kids out of your hair.
A simple, central, well-equipped and easy-going getaway that's great for groups, couples or families.
