Sitting in the upper Budget price echelon, Ama Casa offers enough luxury to justify digging a little deeper into the pocket - a gorgeous setting in the Champagne Valley, the coziness of underfloor heating, and a private jacuzzi on the patio.
Within easy reach of the Central Drakensberg’s platter of outdoor activities, the three cottages on this smallholding all sport appealing mountain views, with plenty in the way of tranquility and privacy to boot.
The larger of the three, Sunbird Cottage is well suited to a larger family and sleeps up to six in three bedrooms. The living area is open-plan to a large equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Extra comforts come in the form of a fireplace, DSTV in the lounge and bedrooms, underfloor heating and WiFi. Outside you’ve got a covered patio, your own jacuzzi and a braai area.
Kingfisher and Hoopoe Cottages are tailored for couples. Kitted with modern fittings, large doors open from the open-plan living area and bedroom onto a patio with jacuzzi and braai area. The bedrooms are ensuite. As with Sunbird, the comfort list consists of DSTV, a fireplace, underfloor heating and WiFi. The mountain views and general setting of each is superb.
Luxury galore, soothing surrounds and comfort aplenty, Ama Casa ticks all the boxes when it comes to treating yourself to the good life on your next Berg road trip.

Dave and Les have thought out and executed every last detail of an utterly indulging experience just perfectly. I don't think that there is a better location in the Berg, and to wake up with a view of the mountains every morning is so energising and refreshing.
