Captain G to the rescue! Blue Valley Guest Cottage is just over the mountain, in the heart of Hout Bay, and offers stylish, spacious living and spectacular views over the valley.
This double-storey cottage is privately set within a sprawling urban garden and sleeps up to four, making it a useful local base for couples or a small family.
The upstairs loft area, with large dormer windows, is made up of a main bedroom with double bed, sleeper couch, and ensuite bathroom with shower. A balcony extends from the bedroom, with good views over the surrounding mountains and pretty Hout Bay valley.
A spiral staircase leads down to the ground floor, where you’ll find the fully equipped, open-plan kitchen and timber-floored living area, with large sliding doors spilling onto the garden. The lounge could hold you for hours, with surround-sound and a flatscreen telly so big you'll keep swinging round to shhhhh! the giggling teens in the back row.
The garden is a delight and includes a sparkling pool, Jacuzzi and outdoor braai area - all for your use. With private, off-street parking and your own entrance to the cottage, there's no need to fret about disturbing your friendly hosts after a heavy night at the local shebeen.
