Carneddie is a lovingly renovated thatch cottage set in a quiet and pleasant garden in the heart of Bredasdorp.
The guest feedback for Carneddie tells of a no-nonsense, easy-going stay: “Brilliant rustic and relaxing setting with very obliging and friendly hosts!” “The establishment was clean and fresh. The garden was neat and divided into areas for privacy.”
The cottage itself is ideally suited to a small family or two couples sharing, with two ensuite bedrooms (double and twin), that open out via French doors onto the patio and garden.
The living and dining area are open-plan, and the kitchen fully equipped for self-catering (dishwasher included). Double doors open onto a covered patio, where you have a braai.
The light and airy sun room makes for a pleasant spot to tuck into a good book, and there's DSTV on tap.
The living is easy here, with the cottage a mere doddle to the centre of town - think breakfast and that morning cuppa.
For a chilled urbanish getaway within easy reach of the wider action (Arniston, De Hoop etc), this one fits the bill.
