Spanning the lush banks of the mighty Mzimvubu River near Port St Johns, Cremorne Estate offers a no-nonsense pack of self-catering timber bungalows, a campsite, a relaxed and vibey sports bar, restaurant and swimming pool - all gazing across the river and surrounding mountains.
Whether you're hauling the boat to the coast for a spot of river fishing, or just cruising into town for a well-earned break with the fam, Cremorne packs plenty of punch when it comes to value for money and variety.
Accommodation comes in a number of forms: Twin and double ensuite rooms (offered on a B&B basis) overlooking the river; family-suited one- and two bedroomed units with decks facing the river; basic open-plan units for the hardy fisherman, with double and bunk beds and communal ablutions; and finally, a lawned campsite on the river bank, with taps and power points and shared bathrooms.
Cremorne’s facilities include a restaurant, sports bar with pool table, a swimming pool with deck and a jungle gym for the kids. Down at the river the grunter are always biting = tap into the babysitting service on offer and you're in fisherman's Nirvana.
Out and about you’ve got coastal hiking trails, mountain biking routes, bird watching and boat cruises on the river.
So whether it’s a fishing trip with the boys or downtime with the family, Cremorne Estate is classic Wild Coast holidaying.

The staff is very friendly and Brandon, Sharon and Chucky always make sure that their guests are given special attention each time offering us a scenic hike and the most delicious braai. I cannot flaw this lodge in any way. It is super clean and you can't leave without having their breakfast...yum!"
