Elandsnes is a versatile getaway with a prime location and quality accommodation suited to surfers, birders and adventurers alike.
Elandsnes offers clean, uncomplicated living with a laid-back vibe. The main house, with its two downstairs bedrooms (one Queen en-suite and one double) and its dorm-style loft room, packs a group of 10 with ease. Alert: These rooms share one downstairs bathroom, so be sure to work out the shower schedule ahead of time.
The kitchen and living area is open and airy, with all the necessary odds and ends to make your stay comfortable. The indoor braai is where you'll be when the south-easter is howling outside.
Attached to the side of the main abode and close to the river mouth, is Cedarberg Cottage. This sleeps two in a double en-suite room, with an option for two additional singles. Good option for a small family, as it's self-contained, and comes with covered veranda with braai.
A fuss-free base to the Elands Bay waves, rock paintings, and myriad birds at Verlorenvlei.
