Embraced by lush, rolling green hills and open skies, this beauty will make the tough-to-navigate dirt road totally worth the effort. With the dazzling view of the snow-capped Drakensberg mountains in the distance, Fairbairn is a place you won't easily forget.
There are four rooming options, all with snug finishes and gorgeous garden views.
The Main House offers two bedrooms, both with double beds and ensuite bathrooms. The Little Rondavel has a double bed and ensuite bathroom, while the Big Rondavel carries an additional single bed. The Cottage sleeps four in a double and twin room.
Of the above, the Main House is the only option with an indoor fireplace - no guessing which to book in winter. All four units have access to the country-style kitchen and lapa that's nicely equipped with braai facilities and DSTV. The lapa appears to be the farm's hub, with many a night spent sharing tales and laughs over a burnt chop and wors.
If you find your days are too action-packed to be bothered with food, or you're simply too lazy to make the effort, meals can be provided on request.
With unrivaled hospitality, dazzling Drakensberg views and plenty to do, Fairbairn s a great option for families and groups looking for an out-of-the-way stay.
