Clearly, Fairways Luxury Apartment, in the swanky Mossel Bay Golf Estate, cracks the nod for many. It also reflects friendly hostess Almarie Fourie's own eye for perfection.
Whether it’s an obsession for driving a tiny white ball down a stretch of lawn and then setting out in search of it, or as a comfortable base (with a grand view) Fairways ticks all the boxes: luxurious living, close enough to the beaches, restaurants and museums, yet surrounded by enough green to feel removed from the urban humdrum.??
The apartment? Let's take a closer look… First off, you should note it comprises the upper level of Almarie's home. So while our traditional focus is free-standing abodes, in this case we're more than happy to make an exception, 'cause what you have here is a home from home experience, but with a lot more luxury.
Lavishly furnished, the apartment comes with gobsmacking views over the ocean, golf course and Outeniqua mountains in the distance. Ideal for two couples on a golfing trip, there are two ensuite bedrooms (one twin and one king) with large sliding doors opening to the main balcony, where you’ll often spot springbok, guinea fowl and numerous bird species.
The living/dining area and modern, open-plan kitchen also flow out onto the balcony. So lounge back on the sunbeds and gaze upon your fellow players battling it out on the first green - which is literally right below you. If the thrill of live golf isn't enough, you’ve got DSTV on a flatscreen and free WiFi.
The good life doesn’t end here… No need to pack the readymade TV dinners for this trip; simply head down to the nearby clubhouse restaurant for well-priced meals and snacks.??
With fully secured, private parking, there will be none of the usual fretting over that new golf cart you’ve towed up from Pinelands.
'Live golf-breathe golf' not your thing? There are plenty reasons to drag yourself away from the comforts of Fairways Apartment. A walk on the beach, clusters of historical buildings and sites dotted among some (truly awful) high-rise developments, a coastal hiking trail, several decent restaurants, nature reserves lying to the back of the town...
A recommended home-from-home option in this neck of the Garden Route woods.
COVID-19 Security and Cleaning Protocol
Deposits will be kept in Trust and refunded in case of cancellation due to force majeure relating to COVID-19. An advanced cleaning protocol is in place and the apartment will be sanitized with a fogger machine between visits. Masks, sanitizer and paper towels are available in the apartment.
