Jigamanzi (Zulu for “Dancing on Water”) is a sweet spot for those traveling to the J-Bay of the West Coast for a spot of err... jigamanzi.
Accommodation takes the form of four bedrooms in the main house - one of these is a loft room that sleeps three and opens to a gobsmacking view of the ocean.
Downstairs you'll find the fully equipped kitchen and open-plan living and dining room. This flows onto a roomy patio with tree growing through it and a braai.
The comfy lounge has a pool table - good spot to recover from surf rash. And, if one braai ain't enough, there's a second braai area overlooking the front garden. Go SA!
If you're planning to pack the Combi with a few extra mates, there's a cottage at the back of the main house. Sleeping four in a double and twin loft room, this unit is fully equipped with own kitchen and built-in braai on the sheltered patio. As such, also perfect for a small family.
With rustic finishes, chunky furnishings and lived-in vibe, Jigamanzi has more than enough space for you, the crew and the sticks.
"Pleasant layout with rooms well isolated from the entertainment area. Braai area at the back is well connected to the kitchen making for interactive cooking. Pool table was a blast with all; the men who think they can play and the women who thought it was easy to play. Well situated outside of the country town and away from but close to everything that matters. Beach was perfect. Excellent breakaway venue close enough to Cape Town for easy access."
