Budget Getaways Review
A triple-storey Provençal-style beauty terracing the upper mountain reaches of Gordons Bay, La Vue Parfaite certainly lives up to its name.
With uninterrupted vistas spanning the harbour, False Bay, Table Mountain and the Hottentots Holland, stepping onto the terrace is something resembling Google Earth.
The house is well suited to a big swanky family gathering, large bunch of friends or even an intimate birthday bash - caterers can be arranged on request.
As far as your bed goes, you’ve got a total five bedrooms, all packed with ensuite bathrooms. The house sleeps a total 10 happy guests.
The master bedroom is located on the top level, while the balance can be found on the lower level, along with two family lounges with fireplaces and DSTV. All five bedrooms are spacious and kitted in quality linen.
The living area is open-plan and comes wth fireplace. It's fitted with quality furnishings and makes great use of the views via a split-level wraparound terrace and swimming pool.
The kitchen has everything you’ll need, including gas Aga stove and oodles of fridge space. The dining room comes with a 12-seater table.
For Braaimeester, there's a choice of two braais - one at the back (mountain and nature reserve views), the other on the rooftop terrace.
Back on ground level, you’ve got secure parking for six gleaming chariots.
With Gordons Bay just down below and the scenic coastal road leading to various beaches, coastal dorps and nature reserves, you have it all.
Bottom line though, it's going to be somewhat difficult extricating yourself from that glass of chilled Chardonnay on the terrace.

"Absolutely one of the most beautiful places I've stayed in my life, the views from the terraces at night are breathtaking. Sitting in the side of the mountain overlooking Gordon's bay, there is so much to do with very little travel. It was a delight to be able to dive in the pool on such hot days. Very clean and spotless, the owners deserve credit for being such fine host"s. Will definitely be going again soon."
