Set in a peaceful quarter of Montagu, Molly's has a choice of two cozy cottages: Molly’s Cottage (sleeps two) and The Stables (sleeps two).

Each occupies a tranquil garden setting and is tastefully decorated with a mix of screed and wooden floors and simple, rustic furnishings.

Molly's Cottage, the smaller of the two units and not quite as private, comes with a queen-sized bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. A kitchenette with fridge, coffee making facilities and small living room open to a covered patio and the communal pool.

The Stables would be our first choice - slightly more luxurious and set back from the main house. It’s a double story unit, again with Queen bed and ensuite bathroom upstairs, as well as a large balcony with superb views across the town and mountains. Downstairs you’ve got a fully equipped kitchen and spacious lounge area with DSTV. The living room opens out onto your own private garden and braai area.

There’s secure off-street parking for the chariot and towels, linen, tea and coffee are all thrown into the deal.

With a lengthy list of activities to keep you busy in and around Montagu, ranging from a day of teetering along the Breede River Wine Route, to tackling a mountain hike, or simply lazing around the town’s hot springs, Molly’s Cottages is the perfect base to return to at the end of an action-packed day.
