A lazy weekend amongst the bright blossoming orchards and creeping vines of Riebeek Kasteel will leave you feeling more than rejuvenated and revived. If you wish to relax in cool comfort, look no further than Obiekwa Country House.
Obiekwa Country House is a spacious and elegantly designed slef catering home that comfortably sleeps up to six guests. The two bedrooms in the main part of the house (one queen and one king/twin) are both ensuite and really nicely kitted out. They both have big double doors that lead out onto the covered verandah which is where you will more than likely be spending the majority of your time – thanks to the picnic style table and the built in braai.
Inside the house you will find a well equipped kitchen, an open plan dining area and living room with soft cushy couches to flop into.
If you're in need of a bit more of a private space, there is a third bedroom which has a separate entrance as well as its own little kitchenette and living/dining space within the room. This room also leads onto its very own patio with a braai – perfect place to enjoy your sundowners.
Apart from the leisurely activities on offer in town, you can also indulge in a dip in the pool close to the vines, or try your hand at French Bowls.
Obiekwa Country House is a must try for a slow-paced weekend stay.
