A homely haven set against an awe-inspiring backdrop of lush green vineyards and Stellenbosch mountains, Paradyskloof Guest House is indeed a small chunk of paradise.
The four ensuite rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished with extra-length beds to guarantee a good night's kip.
Two of the rooms are semi-equipped for self-catering, while the Luxury Family Room has a spacious lounge and kitchen area with own private patio.
Upping the value at Paradyskloof is a delectable breakfast covering most food groups known to humankind.
Conveniently close to Stellies, Paradyskloof provides easy access to a range of activities, restaurants and wine estates.
Staying close to the farm, there are a number of informal trails in the local foothills - these will appeal to both casual hiker and mountain biker. There's also a trout-filled dam on the property itself - again, this will hold appeal for both fishermen and their hangers-on.
A first-rate getaway that will make your urban re-entry just a tad depressing.
