A combo of friendly hosts, great views and ship-shape accommodation makes Paters Haven a good choice for an uncomplicated stay in Paternoster.
The self-catering unit has two bedrooms upstairs (one King and one twin) that share a bathroom with shower.
Coming down the stairs, you're welcomed by an open-plan kitchen, stylish and spacious dining and living area. Popping outside, the view of the sunset from the private balcony is pretty awesome.
There is a cozy indoor fireplace for cooler evenings, and a braai area conducive to long boozy balmy evenings.
Paters Haven is not only tailored for a family getaway, but also for those on the hunt for a more romantic rendezvous. There are two ensuite B&B rooms (with twin beds that can be converted to King by prior arrangement), which are luxurious and serene. Each room is fitted with a bar fridge and tea and coffee facilities.
The Continental breakfast is rumoured to be divine and best enjoyed after an early morning ramble along the shore.
With something for everyone and a great location with awesome sea views, Paters Haven gets our thumbs-up.
"We loved staying at Paters Haven. It was very well stocked. Even though we were staying in the B&B, they even had a little kitchen and Weber so we could braai on the balcony. I loved the view of the sea from the kitchen/sitting room. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The Continental breakfasts were excellent with freshly baked bread or muffins."
