Looking for an easy weekend escape where you can chill out and enjoy a bit of kite-surfing action? Pumpkin House in all its full-colour glory is a fun place to call home for your stint in Langebaan.
Located en-route to the West Coast National Park, Pumpkin House is nice and close to all the main attractions in town.
With four rooms sleeping two a-piece (two doubles, two twin), this backpacker-style spot is surprisingly homely. Each room is comfortably furnished and suitably adorned with a number of interesting art finds. Aside from the convenience of an en-suite bathroom, each room has its own bar fridge, TV and coffee-making facilities.
The enclosed garden makes for a tranquil artists retreat, and nature lovers will appreciate the abundant bird-life which can be enjoyed from the cosy cane lounger while sipping your morning cuppa.
As far as backpackers go, Pumpkin House is right up there on the Value-For-Money list.
