If you are looking for a getaway that you AND the kids will feel right at home in, look no further than Raphia on Sea.
Borrowing its name from the statuesque Raphia palm that's indigenous to the area, this roomy facebrick home has enough space for a whopping nine guests - five in the main house (two doubles and sleeper couch in the lounge), and four in the outside flatlet (King and twin). As such, this is a good spot for an extended family tribe.
Both the main house and the flatlet are fully equipped for self-catering, though there's also the added convenience of B&B should you want it. We certainly would - less time in the kichen = more time on the beach. Not so?
Raphia on Sea is comfortably furnished and ever so homely. DSTV is available, but who really cares when the alternative is a gorgeous garden, a trampoline, a rockery swimming pool, and a long beach with lagoon attached.

"We only stayed for one night as we were in Mtunzini for a wedding, but we had a lovely time and the B&B was excellent. It was clean and beautifully furnished with everything that we needed. The owner was friendly and available. All in all, a great experience and it's somewhere we will definitely stay again."
