For a laid-back family holiday that wont break the piggybank, Sedgefield Holiday Cottage might be just what you're looking for.
This eight-sleeper timber cottage will feel like home in no time - much like an old pair of slippers.
And like those old Stokies that you just can't say goodbye to, the cottage could do with a bit of a lift in the looks department. However, decor issues aside, the place has a lot to offer: cheap, clean, functional, relaxed, and lots of space.
Your sleeping quarters come in the form of three bedrooms and a bunk room and shared ablutions.
The big calling card here is the position: right on the banks of the lagoon, where the Swartvlei River meets the sea. Fishing, swimming, amazing birdlife (dont' forget the Roberts and binocs), you'll love it.
