This is a real Karoo experience, set on 1200ha (that's big) of private nature reserve at the foot of the Swartberg Mountians, not far from Prince Albert.
Bushman Valley has air-conditioned thatched self-catering cottages, with great views of the mountains ... and the hiking trails.
There are also severl campsites for campers and caravand, with a decent ablution block, fire places, and braai areas. When it gets hot in summer, there's a splash pool to cool off in.
Prince Albert itself is a quaint village with some interesting shops, markets at various times, and near to the popular Swartberg pass which is worth a drive.
