There's a choice of three very nicely decorated B&B rooms; Karoo Room, Amore Room and the Happy Room.
Ideal for couples, all three come with en-suite bathrooms, DSTV and tea and coffee.
For summer there's a much needed swimming pool - with towels provided. Close by is a large stoep with firepit - perfect venue to cozy up with loved one and soak up those starry nights.
No need to cart in the groceries - The Ibis Lounge is open for meals seven days a week, from 8am to 8pm, with a diverse menu that includes burgers, pitas, steaks, pasta and curry. A variety of coffees are served, and all baked goods are created on the premises. A roast is served up on Sundays.
And then there's the The Ibis Lounge shop, where you'll find a range of fresh and stylish SA-sourced items with a Karoo theme - windmills, donkeys, barbed wire and owls.
Ranking among Nieu-Bethesda's slicker options, this is a great stopover for couples and small families looking for that extra level of comfort.
"The room is well-appointed� and clean. The bed the best this holiday, warm comfy and cosy with quality linen. The bathroom was great�and clean.The hostess was very thoughtful and ensured the room was warmed. The curtain in the happy room did not provide quite enough privacy when the room lights were on. Breakfast was very slow. But over all a good experience. "
