To satisfy any urban craving, the quirky named village of Baardskeerdersbos is five kays down the drag, while Gansbaai and Stanford are a short drive away - 24km and 42km, respectively.

The rondawel is elegantly furnished with simple country pieces; whitewashed walls and timber floors add to the charm.
A Queen bed graces the main bedroom - an ensuite bathroom (shower only) leads off from here. The front door opens to a patio with outlook onto the pond.
Separate from your sleeping quarters is a fully equipped kitchen, with gas stove and cozy dining area for two. There’s a braai area outside and timber deck.
The unit is powered by gas and solar - thankfully there's not a TV in sight.
At R1000 nightly it's not the cheapest of Budget Getaway options, but in our book still worth the spend. You be the judge.
