Payment Options

Best Budget Getaways accepts credit card booking payments on behalf of featured establishments. 

These payments may be made via Visa and MasterCard credit cards into the Best Budget Getaways bank account, the details of which can be provided on request. The payment, less any commission owing to Best Budget Getaways, is paid on to the establishment within 5-10 working days. 

Your credit card details (name on card, number, expiry date and last 3 digits of the number on the back of your card) will be requested when making payment.

In order to pay by credit card or manual EFT, please select the 'Accept Quote & Pay by Credit Card' or 'Accept Quote & Pay by EFT' buttons to accept a quote from the respective establishment. For credit card payments you will be directed you to a secure payment page hosted by our payment gateway partner, Paygate, where you will be requested to follow the instructions provided.

Once you have completed your credit credit transaction you will be directed back to our website.

An email confirming your payment, balance due on arrival (if applicable), booking reference number, and establishment contact details, will be forwarded to you at the same time. 

Credit card transactions are acquired for Best Budget Getaways via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Please visit www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer details are stored by Best Budget Getaways separately from card details, which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site.

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
