Situated alongside a grove of blue gums, surrounded by oodles of open space, Kleine Morelig is a renovated cottage, on a working Overberg farm, just a short drive from Arniston.
Simple and easy going in terms of layout, Kleine Morelig has had a makeover, in fresh and airy tones, light coloured screed floors and quality bedding and furnishings. The cottage sleeps a total of six, making it a good option for a family or even two couples sharing. There are three bedrooms in total (two doubles and a twin room). The main bedroom is ensuite (shower and loo), while you’ve also got a second shared bathroom with shower. All rooms and equipped with quality linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is a typical farm style kitchen, equipped and spacious. You’ve got a stove, fridge/freezer and microwave, as well as a six seater dining table for cozy farm meals. The kitchen leads through to the lounge, which is decked out with a scattering of comfy couches.
Outdoors you’ve got a patio and braai area, as well as an enclosed garden…if you can’t find any pet-sitters, Fido can come along, but do request this before booking.
While Kleine Morelig makes a well-placed base from which to explore Arniston and the surrounding area, it is also a great family destination. There is more than enough to do on the farm – walking, cycling and a general sense of open space, as well as easy access to the coast.
