Budget Getaways Review
Many people travel to Plettenberg Bay to explore the wider Garden Route area, others arrive, park the SUV and spend their time soaking up the sun and strolling through town without a further thought to what lies beyond the borders of the bright blue sea. If the latter sounds a bit like you, and you feel the need to kick off your leather loafers and don your slops, you might well enjoy all that is on offer at Bliss on Beacon Isle.
If you are bringing your kids along on a seaside holiday, the Fynbos Family Suite is going to be your best bet. The room is spacious and light and features a double bed and single bunk beds. The fully equipped kitchenette allows for easy meal prep. The doors swing open onto the deck and pool as well as the braai area.
For couples enjoying some summer lovin', the Wild Fig, Keurbooms and Rooi Els Suites are a good pick. Each of these have ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee facilities and a deck overlooking the plunge pool. The Budget room is a bit more basic but still a good option. You can choose to enjoy a lip-smacking-good breakfast in the dining room or out on the sunny deck area. The clear blue pool surrounded by sun loungers promises a day of total relaxation – just remember to pack the sunblock and a good read.
Bliss on Beacon Isle is a really good option for those in search of comfort and convenience.
