Set on awesome lawns backdropped by Outeniqua mountain views, Esperanza Countryside Accommodation is a generous three-bedroom farmhouse on a smallholding in the Geelhoutboom area, 12 kays outside George.
Ideal for a family on their roadtrip through the Garden Route, and within easy reach of town and the coastline, it’s little wonder a recent guest gushes, “This is an amazing setting on a beautiful farm. You have the whole house for yourself!”
Taking a walkabout, the house is simply, yet comfortably furnished and offers plenty in the way of space and easy-going vibe.
Although there are only three bedrooms, the house can pack a total of 12 guests: the first room comes with a double and single bed, the second with a double and three singles, the third with a double. The balance is made up by two single beds in the lounge.
To handle the human load, there are three shared bathrooms. All linen and towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is fully decked and shares space with a large living and dining area with indoor braai. From here it's through the stack doors to the patio, sprawling lawned garden, sheltered lapa, firepit and swimming pool.
Spacious, relaxed, soothing mountain vistas and country air, great outdoor living, Esperenza is one to add to the My Group Escape wishlist.
