Here you can wander down to the dairy to buy your milk, cream and yoghurt, and visit the Saturday market for fruit and vegetables picked that morning, fresh baked bread, homemade jams and pickles.
The accommodation comes in a few options.
Klein de Hoek - two bedrooms, double and 2 singles, a bathroom with a bathtub and a lovely, well-equipped kitchen. No electricity, but is fully equipped with paraffin lamps, gas stove, gas fridge and gas geyser. The stoep doubles as a lounge.
Vredenhof - two bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, King-sized bed in the one room and 2 extra length single beds in the other room, an alcove on the stoep has two beds. No electricity but is fully equipped with paraffin lamps, gas stove, gas fridge and gas geysers.

Just 2kms from the foot of the Swartberg Pass, Prince Albert is a good base for exploring the Swartberg including Gamkaskloof "the Hell" and Meiringspoort.
