Only 15km from Wilderness in the Hoekwil area, Westwood Cottage is located on a working dairy farm above the Wilderness Lakes - the perfect spot for either a bit of R&R or an action-packed break, depending on what floats your boat.

Sleeping six guests (two on a sleeper couch), this comfortable timber cottage is raised on stilts to maximize those open vistas and is circled by rolling green lawns leading down to a large dam.

It has two bedrooms, with Queen bed and two singles, and both with ensuite shower and bath. There’s a fully equipped, open-plan kitchen and spacious living area, both drenched in happy light.

There's no indoor fireplace (presumably due to the fire hazard), but there are gas heaters, so you will be well-covered during the nippy winters. 

A large wooden deck leads off the living room and main bedroom, with breathtaking views unfurling over the dam and hazy Outeniqua mountains beyond.

A braai area, towels and linen are thrown into the deal, as is farm fresh milk on request - after that 2% stuff you've been drinking all this time your Corn Flakes won't know what hit them.

Tummy full, you have a number of options to fill the day. From chilling out on the deck with a pair of binocs and your copy of Roberts, to hitting the beach at Wilderness, fishing in the dam, riding your bike, exploring the local forests and mountains, there's way more than enough to do.
