Here’s a getaway that’s more than just bushveld accommodation. It's full turnkey experience all of its own.

Kicking off with the accommodation, there are five thatch chalets, ranging from two- and four-sleepers, to a large seven-sleeper family unit. All are free-standing and dotted around the gardens and large dam, and within walking distance of the main lodge. All have equipped kitchens for self-catering and braai facilities. The decor and furnishings are no-fuss and befitting a bush escape.
The lodge itself offers two additional double guest suites, with a larger four-sleeper suite that comes equipped with a kitchenette.
For ye hardened BG campers, you have a choice of camping on the banks of the dam, and rustic camping cabins. For both, you'll need to bring all your own gear.
The cozy lodge forms the epicentre of action at Kareekloof. Optional scrumptious meals are served in the dining room or on the terrace (advance booking essential), there's a swimming pool and TV lounge with DSTV, as well as plenty of cool spaces for general holiday chilling.
The activity list is a hefty one and there will be little incentive to leave the front gate (besides, Rustenburg ain't exactly a hot drawcard) - game drives on open vehicles, bass fishing, mountain bike routes, tubes on the farm dam, stargazing excursions, even sundowners on the surrounding hills.
A relaxed and fun-filled nature getaway, with genuine hospitality to boot, you could do a lot worse than Kareekloof Game Farm for that upcoming bush break.
