The setting: A working farm gazing out across a rural landscape. The accommodation: A simple and spacious farmhouse set amongst plum orchards and vineyards with vistas second-to-none from the front stoep.
If it’s a dollop of solitude you’re after, then Taaibos Views has your name on it. The farmhouse is well suited to a group of friends, a family or even two couples sharing. Looking at the general layout, you’ve got four spacious rooms, two of which are doubles and the other two twins. Beds are decked out with quality linen.
As far as bathrooms go, there is only one, so you’ll need to get in the queue here. The bathroom has a bath, shower and loo. Towels are provided.
The house has a massive kitchen, fully equipped and you’ve even got a dishwasher, so stack and forget! The lounge has a scattering of sofas and a dining table. There’s an indoor braai which doubles up as a fireplace for the winter chill. Throw open the sliding doors and you’ve got a stoep that’s made for that morning cuppa, the views are superb.
With Bonnievale a way off, it’s likely you’ll find plenty of outdoor action on and around the farm. Mountain bike along the nearby gravel roads, hike or run in any direction or try your luck at a spot of fishing at the huge farm dam - you’ll see it from the farmhouse.
A super-rural setting, with simple, yet comfortable accommodation and plenty in the way of outdoor delights. Gather the troops and head for the hills, Taaibos Views is waiting for you.
