Situated on the banks of the Jan Dissels River with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, you'll find the lovely Boskloofswemgat. The farm offers three self-catering, thatch-roofed cottages, one corrugated iron-roofed and four quaint prefab cottages.
Hangnes Cottage sleeps six people. There are 2 bedrooms; one with a double bed and one with 2 x single beds. A sleeper couch in the open lounge sleeps an additional 2 guests. The cottage is situated about 200m from the river against the mountainside. Fivaz se Huis cottage has 2 bedrooms; one with a double bed and one with single beds. There is a sleeper couch in the open plan living area for 2 more guests. There is a bathroom with a shower and bath, as well as an indoor fireplace and an outside braai. Owen se Huis is a cosy cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with single beds. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. There is an outside braai.
Langhuis offers privacy and a secluded rock pool with an outside shower. There is a bedroom with double bed and an on-suite bathroom.Two children can sleep on a sleeper couch in the open plan lounge. It has a fireplace inside and a braai area outside. Kliphuis is also a private cottage with direct access to a river pool. The bedroom has a double bed and a fireplace. Gustav se Huis is a house with 4 bedrooms; 2 with double beds and 2 with single beds. It offers a spacious open-plan lounge with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. It has a full bathroom and an extra toilet. The outside braai area overlooks the "swemgat". Cottage Nenna is a very charming cottage with a vintage but homely feel. This cottage has one bedroom with a double bed - a flow of vintage green and oyster white that is repeated in the rest of the cottage as well. Two single beds in the open plan.
Boskloofswemgat is a good option for a family getaway, a private weekend away from crowds, or with your mates if you're exploring the Cederberg area.
