Destination weddings are become ever the trend, and Riebeek Kasteel is one of the more popular destinations of choice. Should you find yourself being invited to such a wedding, you may want to consider Eldorado Country House as your weekend crash pad.
The main house sleeps ten people and the cottage can accommodate four. These two can be rented out separately or together which makes it perfect - whether you are staying alone or with a group of mates.
The main house has five generous bedrooms (two twins and a double) all with ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen is beautifully done and also plays host to a great big wooden dining suite which is perfect for those jolly family dinners. The lounge is comfortable furnished and has a hearty fireplace as well as a premium Satellite TV package.
The cottage has two bedrooms (one double and a twin) which share a bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the bits and bobs, The living area also has a Satellite TV and an open fireplace for those chillier evenings.
At the heart of this home is the courtyard which houses the braai area and the cool blue swimming pool. You wont be able to resist a quick dip after a day walking the sun drenched streets of Riebeek Kasteel or enjoy a wine tour or two at one of the nearby estates.
The scenic vistas and serene setting make for a relaxing break for painters, writers, fun-loving families and wedding guests alike.
"We booked the 2 bedroom cottage over the Olive Festival Weekend and had an amazing stay! The accommodation was spotlessly clean, had really large bedrooms, spacious lounge with open plan kitchen and is beautifully maintained. We were met on arrival by the host who was super friendly and made us feel right at home. It was great value for money as there were 4 of us and being a short stroll into town, perfectly positioned. We will definitely be back!"

"Within easy walking distance of town. Rooms are spacious and on-suite with one separate guest bathroom. Pool area has good braai facilities. Cottage part is separated from the other rooms by a lounge and has its own kitchen. Upstairs rooms have effective aircon. All beautifully decorated. Very enjoyable experience and very good value."
