Semi-luxury beachfront accommodation with a dose of true West Coast hospitality is what you will find when booking into Lekke Ekke for the weekend.
Lekke Ekke is a self-catering apartment with modern finishes, loads of light and amazing sea views.
Drilling in further, it takes the form of one room with Queen bed, and a second with two three-quarter beds - you might have to fight off the kids to get the one with the uninterrupted sea view.
The open-plan kitchen, living and dining area is nicely furnished and tiled throughout. The kitchen is equipped with all the mod-cons and opens to a sunny balcony with a built-in braai.
Lekke Ekke is so close to the crashing waves you may well get drenched in fine mist as you tuck into your al fresco lobster on the stoep. Worse things have happened.
One of Lambert's better spots, with a fine outlook, to boot.
