Ndlovu Addo River Lodge offers eco-friendly accommodation and is made for nature lovers. Monkeys, birds, fish, and insects will be your companions during your stay. Accommodation on offer comprises various charming cottages and 1 Safari Tent. Each cottage and tent contains a private bathroom. Each cottage features a well-equipped kitchenette to cook basic meals, a lounge area, air-conditioning, patio with garden and river views. Cottage 5 boasts an outdoor shower and a Jacuzzi. For your convenience they offer frozen meal options for you to bake in the air fryer placed in each cottage and tent. Small pets are allowed, on request prior booking, with extra cleaning fee R100. Additional Children are permitted in Cottage 1 only - at an extra charge of R300 per night Braai/BBQ facilities are available, as well as free Wi-Fi access on the property. Breakfast (R90/per person) can be ordered on arrival for the next morning. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the communal swimming pool and enjoy canoeing on the Sundays River. The property is semi off-the-grid to provide a comfortable stay and not be affected by power outages. Ndlovu Addo River Lodge is ideally situated approx 30 km from the Addo Elephant National Park entrance, and 82 km from Port Elizabeth International Airport.
Each unit has lights, wifi and bedside plugs supplied by solar. All cottages are spacious with a King size bed and a bathroom. Each unit has air conditioning, heater, Wi-FI, hairdryer, hand & body wash, private entrances, verandah with an outside table and chairs, gardens and jetties. All units have small kitchenettes in each where you’ll find basic cutlery, crockery, a bar fridge, gas hob, microwaves, kettle and toaster.
Cottage 1 to 4 also have an outdoor braai (BBQ)
Cottage 3&4 are next to each other with a common wall. Each have a private verandah, ideal for family or group of 4.
Cottage 5 is more spacious with a outdoor fire pit, it has an indoor shower, bath and a outdoor shower with a jacuzzi.
The glamping tent is for those who want to experience a night in the safari. It comes with a large King size bed a bathroom, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heater, hand & body wash, hairdryer, private entrance and balcony. This accommodation is NOT self-catering.
Cottage 1 - This homely open-plan cottage contains a king-size bed, a lounge area, and a private bathroom with a shower. This unit features a kitchenette, and opens onto a patio with outdoor furniture for alfresco dining.
Cottage 2 - This charming open-plan cottage has a king-size bed, a lounge area, and a private bathroom fitted with a shower. This unit features a kitchenette, and opens onto a spacious verandah overlooking a braai area and part of the river.
Cottage 3 - This quaint open-plan cottage contains a king-size bed, a lounge area, and a private bathroom with a shower. This unit features a kitchenette and opens onto a patio with outdoor furniture overlooking a BBQ/braai area and garden.
Cottage 4 - This secluded open-plan cottage contains a king-size bed, a lounge area, and a private bathroom with a shower. This unit features a kitchenette, and opens onto a verandah overlooking a garden and part of the river.
Cottage 5 - This open-plan cottage contains a king-size bed, a lounge area, and a private bathroom. This unit has a kitchenette, and opens onto a verandah that boasts patio furniture, outdoor shower and Jacuzzi. Lovely river views can be admired from the garden.
Safari Tent - This tented stand is ideal for glamping and contains a king-size bed and a private bathroom with a shower and River view. This tent contains air-con, a bar fridge, tea/coffee, a hairdryer, and a sitting area. Furnished with Airfryer and kettle.

One moment you will be paddling a canoe down the beautiful Sundays River and next you are on the back of a 4×4 experiencing the lion kill. Here you can experience the Addo area’s diverse range of eco activities, bringing you close to nature and wildlife.
