Ambling through Riebeek Kasteel, right down Fontein Street, you will come across a striking guest house with bright blue shutters. This is Shades Of The Valley.
Shades Of The Valley is a guest house that with four rooms (two double and two king/twin with additional sleeper couches) that can also be booked as a self catering house on its own.
Each of the four rooms is beautifully decorated in shades of purple, green and beige. The décor and setting will trick you into thinking that you are lazing about in a luxury villa somewhere in France – although lazing about at Shades Of The Valley is equally as luxurious. The rooms are all ensuite with Satellite TV, coffee and tea facilities as well as air conditioning (a bonus in this part of the country).
The living spaces in the house are spacious and breezy and boast two kitchens, two lounges and two fireplaces. With a layout like this, it will feel more like home away from home than a guesthouse.
The attention to detail at Shades Of The Valley is really something special. Also worth a mention is the couples massages that can be booked in the treatment room or in the comfort of your own room (this is sure to be a treat for both you and your partner).
Intimacy and romanticism are the order of the day at Shades Of The Valley. A good choice for a couples retreat to Riebeek Kasteel.
