Tsitsikamma Backpackers is not your run-of-the-mill backpackers lodge. In other words, what you WONT find here are grimy bathrooms, musty mattresses or dingy, faux-leather lounge suites with their springs exposed.
What you WILL find at Tsitsikamma Backpackers is clean and cozy accommodation with stylish decor and comfortable furniture, circled by a lush garden.
Like all backpackers, the ktichen and livng areas are communal. Feeding off these is a range of accommodation types: a single-bed dorm room that sleeps six, a double room with a shared bathroom, an ensuite King room with an extra double bunk bed, a twin room with shared bathroom, and one or two unusual but pretty nice twin tented units in the garden.
While you generally get what you pay for at a backpackers, looking at the overall standard here, Tsitsikamma Backpackers definitely offers more bang for buck. The rooms are light and airy, the staff are super friendly and the location is on point for anyone wanting to explore the Tsitsikamma National Park's every nook and cranny.
A good spot to call home for a day or three.
