Set along a quiet urban street, backed by Pringle Bay’s surrounding mountains, 287 on High Level has two self-contained garden cottages, ready and waiting for your holiday jaunt in Pringle. Each privately positioned and separate from the host's house on the same property, the cottages (namely Mandalay and The Boathouse) sleep eight and four guests respectively.
Equipped with bedding, towels, simple and hassle-free furnishings, as well as WiFi, each has a laid-back and easy going vibe. This isn’t a place you’ll need to be too precious about the kids getting beach sand on the floor, these two cottages are comfy and relaxed holiday pads.
Mandalay Cottage, the larger one, has three bedrooms, the main being ensuite with a queen sized bed. The two additional rooms have a double bed and single loft bed in one, and a bunk bed and single loft bed in the other. The loft beds are fixed to the wall and accessed via a ladder. Mandalay has an open plan kitchen and living area, which leads out onto a patio with braai.
Moving over to The Boat House, this unit has one bedroom with a queen bed and a fold out double sleeper couch in the living room. There’s a three-quarter bed in the living room which could be used by a child. There is one bathroom with a bath only. The cottage is equipped with a kitchen and comfy living area, and you’ve got a braai outside.
With the beach just a five minute walk away, you’ll be heading down for early morning walks, evening sundowners or to spend a few hours at the lagoon with the kids. Further afield there’s plenty to explore in the area, as well as hiking and cycling routes, wineries and craft breweries and Pringle Bay’s legendary Saturday morning market.
As a good base for the budget conscious, 287 on High Level ticks the boxes when it comes to an easy-going base in Pringle Bay.
