A slick contemporary urban pad overlooking Kalk Bay harbour, Bishop’s View is a symphony of glass, steel, high volumes, minimalist furnishings, clean lines and all the luxury you could ask for.
It's the type of weekend getaway where white bath robes and dry Martinis wouldn't look out of place.
The location is superb, with partial ocean views from the house and an easy doddle down to Kalk Bay's offerings - restaurants, galleries, bric and brac shops.
Focussing on your accommodation, this architectural house has four spacious ensuite bedrooms, all with DSTV, percale linen and plenty breathing room. Two of the ensuites have baths, the other two, showers. Heated towel rails are standard - useful in this neck of the woods, when the sea spray drifts across the road.
The living area and open-plan kitchen have high sliding glass doors to make the most of those ocean views. Expect nothing less than the finest furnishings, kitchen fittings and a gorgeous fireplace to gather around.
The living area flows onto a sun deck, braai area and sparkling swimming pool, where chaise loungers sit at the ready.
State-of-the-art sound system, DSTV and a DVD player add to the entertaininment offering.
If you need to put in a few hours at the office (the high life doesn't come cheap), there’s a study with Wifi, with steam and yoga room to unwind afterwards.
Worried about parking? No need to, there's off-street undercover parking for four cars.
Smooth, stylish and packed with mod-cons, this spot is fit for a bishop, err... king.
