Budget Getaways Review
Stylish, spacious and charming, with lawns nibbling the banks of the Klein River, Corgi Park is a three-bedroom home on the outskirts of Stanford village - a kinda getaway the urban monarchs and their trusty pooches will feel quite at home in.
On the subject of pooches, the house is pet-friendly, with an enclosed garden and enough space for Fido to roam happily while you're out and about.
Ideal for families sharing, or a bunch of friends, the three bedrooms are all ensuite, the main of these with bath and shower, the others with shower only. Quality linen and towels are included in the deal.
The living area is open-plan and consists of a cosy lounge with fireplace and DVD player for those inclement days.
The dining area comes with an eight-seater dining table, while the kitchen is fully geared for self-catering. Add to the mix a secluded study area and a separate laundry, you're all set.
Stepping out through wide sliding doors to the sun-drenched patio, you’ve got a salt-water swimming pool, outdoor lounge area with daybeds, and that inviting lawn flowing down to the water.
Corgi Park has easy proximity to the village centre, with its popular spread of shops, galleries, restaurants and cafes, as well as access to the river from the edge of the garden (bring own canoe), and a number of local walking trails.
Great setting, great space, plenty to keep you busy, Corgi Park has the makings of a winner.
