Huddled in the Witterberg Mountain Range, on the south-western spur of the Drakensberg (60km from Rhodes), this 1100ha farm is a picture-perfect postcard of gorgeous mountain terrain and crystal-clear streams, that alternates between lush green in summer, and crisp snowy winters.
There's a single cottage available - now, that's what we call exclusivity!
Stable Cottage is a quaint stone abode that's been lovingly restored from its original role as a barn in times past. Today, it's a cozy two-bedroomed beauty that sleeps four (double and King/twin) under cushy blankets.
The fireplace and heaters throughout the cottage will certainly be put to good use in winter.
Stable is fully equipped, with a lovely farmstyle kitchen, spacious and nicely furnished dining and living area.
For a fuss-free stay, hosts Chris and Kath are happy to provide you with superb meals, ranging from succulent fillet steaks, to wholesome hearty breakfasts. Sounds like our type of spot.
