Circled by a soothing garden on a large property, Aloe Cottage is a spacious and charming abode on Grabouw's fringe.
Ideally suited to a couple or small family, the cottage forms part of a large outbuilding, and is privately positioned about 25m from your host's house.
Taking a walk through, you have an open-plan setup with side-by-side twin beds and an additional two single beds in the living area for the kids.
The kitchen, living area and bathroom come decked with modern fittings, clean and stylish decor and plenty of space. The kitchen is well-equipped with fridge, stove and microwave. The beds are draped in quality linen, and towels are provided.
Outdoors, there’s a braai area in the garden, and off-street parking. Thrown into the deal is free firewood, Wifi and optional meals (by prior arrangement).
Nicely positioned as a Grabouw base, Aloe Cottage is a springboard to the local adventure offerings: trail running and mountain biking taking up weekend centrestage.
A recent entry in the guest book sums it up pretty well: “Tranquil and calm, beautiful interior, friendly and warm people.”
