Built in 1905 and characterized by its gleaming white exterior, The Whitehouse Inn is one of Sutherlands most well known historical buildings.
Accommodation comes in the form of eight lodge-style rooms sleeping from two to six. Some of the rooms share a bathroom and separate toilet while some of the others have en-suite bathrooms. Each room comes kitted with bath towels and enough bedding to keep the cold out of your bones.
The Whitehouse Inn is somewhat renowned for its warm hospitality. The bar and cozy lounge area is a great place to meet up and swap stories with fellow travelers before enjoying a hearty meal at the restaurant.
This one certainly ticks all the right boxes.
