This semi-detached cottage is tucked away off a quiet street in Barrydale, and as such offers tranquil ambience and pretty views over the village, with the Langeberg cutting the horizon beyond.
Nicely appointed for that morning stroll in search of the perfect cuppa, or for a chilled sundowner from the deck, Little Escape packs a lot of punch for couples in need of a Barrydale base. As one recent guest comment suggests, "Definitely the place to call home during your visit to Barrydale."
Looking at the cottage, Coco Cottage, with its mix of vibrant colour and creative charm. It's an open-plan unit with King bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. The living and dining area share space with a kitchenette kitted out with microwave, gas cooker and bar fridge. After a hard day you'll no doubt enjoy kicking back on the private deck, which comes with a Weber braai.
Parking for the cottage is secure and off-street
Friendly hosts Kate and Don are close at hand - next door, in fact. So feel free to dip into their pool and knowledge of the local area.
A neat and tidy little getaway that's ideal for couples on an Overberg-Klein Karoo roadtrip.
"Kate and Don are superb hosts, welcoming, responsive, considerate, and non-intrusive. Accommodation in the cottage we stayed in is quite basic although adequate, but the cottage overlooks a beautiful garden and has a splendid view. The salt water pool beckons in the heat. We will definitely return!"
