Centrally located, just off the main lagoon road, Lagoon Lodge is an old favourite when it comes to good value, no-nonsense accommodation in Knysna.
Apart from its easy access to the lagoon, Knysna Waterfront, shops and restaurants and of course those magical forest trails and MTB tracks, just up the road, Lagoon Lodge offers plenty in the way of room configurations, all with the option of a first-class breakfast, served with a healthy dollop of gorgeous lagoon vista.
Let’s scout around the room options first. If you’re wanting to wake up to those views over the waters of the lagoon itself, then you can opt for the Double Room, Balcony Room (both upstairs) or Self-Catering Room (ground floor). These rooms sleep two guests in king-size beds.
The Budget Three-Sleeper Room has a view over the garden area and sleeps three (twin beds in the main bedroom and a single in the living room). The upstairs rooms have private balconies, as does the Self-Catering Room.
Common to both ground floor rooms are equipped kitchenettes, while the upstairs rooms have tea and coffee making facilities. All have ensuite bathrooms with showers, free Wi-Fi, towels and linen.
Breakfasts are served in the central dining room or terrace overlooking the lagoon. There are also braai facilities in the lodge garden. All lodge parking is off-street.
