A family-friendly guest house that will go the extra mile to ensure you AND the kids a comfy stay is generally hard to come by. Add to the wishlist a gorgeous setting with a combo of sea, mountain and forest, you're really talking a big ask. Nature's Valley Guest House ticks both boxes.
It takes the form of a thatched facebrick guest house with six rooms that open to gorgeous manicured gardens. Each room (double ensuite or twins) is comfortably furnished and stocked with a tea- and coffee-making life support system.
There are two spacious TV lounges, one with fireplace for that intimate feel, the other with a pool table and kiddies books and movies.
The dining area is under high thatch and a convivial spot to a enjoy a full breakfast prepared by your resident chef. Upping the convenience factor is a self-catering kitchenette near the braai area – like we said, this place is family-friendly. So much so, you can even bring your four-legged family member along - this is by prior arrangement.
Convenience, location and warm hospitality all rolled into one, Natures Valley Guest House gets our double thumbs-up.
"Our party was greeted with smiles when we arrived after a long drive. The guest house is situated in a beautiful nature setting and the lapa ensured some cosy braai dinners. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms are homely. It was a pleasant stay and we'll definitely make use of Nature's Valley Guest House again."
