Budget Getaways Review
With a casual and relaxed holiday vibe, Whalers is a simple, yet comfortable four-bedroom home that's an easy walk from the Hermanus town centre, it's coastal path and the seafront.
Taking a poke around, the house has everything you’ll need for your stay, including a well-equipped kitchen (dishwasher included), two spacious living areas, indoor and outdoor braai facilities, a natural rock plunge pool for the summer months and even a pool table in the living room to pass a cosy indoor winter evening.
Bedrooms are in no short supply either, with full capacity sitting at 11 people at a push. The family room offers twin beds and a double sleep couch; the two double bedrooms have a Queen and double bed, respectively, while the fourth bedroom has a double bed and one twin. All have their own ensuite bathrooms with showers. Linen and bath towels are supplied.
The mod-cons in the house include free WiFi, and you'll find off-street parking for your beloved charriot.
A chilled, easy-going and good value for money option if you’re heading to Hermanus with a group of friends or two families sharing.
