How about a chilled night or two in the heart of McGregor? Gentle strolls around the village punctuated by regular caffeine stop-offs, slow rides on sleepy country roads, well-deserved afternoon siestas, visits to local wine farms…
Le Bonheur serves as a comfortable base to these challenging weekend rigours - a stylish guesthouse with two private suites called Moonglow and Starlight, and a large garden to while away the time.
Given the general layout it's best suited to couples looking for an easy break from the city grind. 

Moonglow is attached to the main house, with it’s own private entrance, while Starlight is independent.
The two suites are similar in layout and decor. Each sports an ensuite bedroom with brass Queen bed, shower and extra large bath. A compact sitting area spills onto a private terrace.


Stepping into the garden, a swimming pool forms the centrepiece - no two ways about it, this is where you'll be spending a fair bit of time under the blaze of a McGregor summer.
Light continental breakfasts are an optional extra at Le Bonheur - served in the main house.
Turning to the rates, we're looking at around R350pp bed only, R400pp with brekkie.
The guest feedback looks good. “What a lovely night's stay - excellent room with such thought having gone into all the extra attention to detail, care and warmth is evident.”
