This character cottage on a quiet McGregor street, oozes a great deal of rural charm, places you right in the centre of the village, yet you're surrounded by tranquil gardens and a distinctly rural setting.
Wild Almond Cottage is a cozy and uncomplicated cottage made up of two bedrooms, (a queen and double), the queen room being ensuite (with shower) and the double room utilising a bathroom with bath. There is an additional hot shower outdoors as well. Towels are provided. The living area, floored with chunky terracotta tiles, shares an open plan kitchen, fully equipped for self-catering. There is also a large, cast iron fireplace. Open the patio doors and you've got a wonderful covered space, leading out onto a contained garden, with a swimming pool. A much needed escape in the McGregor summers! There is a Weber braai on the outside patio. Added to the mix of convenience is off street parking and free WiFi.
Whether it's just the two of you, or you're bringing some friends, Wild Almond is well positioned and within easy walking distance to the nearby main street and restaurants. So, for an easy going hang out in the heart of McGregor, Wild Almond looks to be rather delicious.

"This quaint cottage will have you dreading the day you need to pack up and go home! We spent the entire very rainy, cold weekend in front of the fireplace, red wine in hand.Dennis has a lovely selection of cd's and dvd's to choose from. Sadly we could not benefit from the beautiful stoep and splash pool due to the weather - but all the more reason to return in the summer."

"We absolutely loved the cottage. All we needed was provided and tasteful. The cottage was kept warm in the chilly month of July with electric blankets in all the beds and a cozy indoor closed fireplace. The garden is beautiful too. We highly recommend Wild Almond to future guests."
